Naomi McCormack is a Canadian artist whose works span a diverse range of media and subject matter. She began her career as a glass artist, creating work from both cast and blown glass and exhibiting her sculpture at galleries across North America. She later moved into performance, creating theatre, dance, and installation works as well as directing a variety of film and television projects. Her films have screened in festivals across North America and Europe and been broadcast on national television and online. Her work has been honoured with many Canadian and American awards, including a Canadian Screen Award (“Genie”) for her short film “The Hangman’s Bride”.

As well as creating her own work, she has worked as a curator and programmer for various festivals and cultural institutions including the WOMAD Festival (U.K.), the Female Eye Festival, the Euclid Theatre and Harbourfront Centre, (Toronto) as well as teaching film at Penn State University in Pennsylvania and Humber College in Toronto. She is recently coproduced the feature film “Catch and Release”  released in 2020 and available on iTunes.
